Fresh out of the oven! Baked cauliflower with turmeric and cumin

I love recipes that require minimal prep. This one takes 5 minutes toss together, and can be popped into the oven while I finish the rest of our dinner.

It features three of my favourite super-healthy ingredienst: cauliflower, turmeric and cumin. And if you feel like spicing things up you can add cayenne pepper!

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 3/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne (optional - if you like it spicy!)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Olive oil (optional)

Method

  1. Toss all ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Spread on a baking tray
  3. Bake in a pre-heated over for 20-30 minutes. Cooking them longer will give you "popcorn"-style cauliflower which is delicious as a snack!
