Blanched Broccoli with Lemon & Garlic


This dish is easy to make, and delicious warm or cold.


1 broccoli head, cut into small florets
Juice of one lemon
One clove garlic, minced
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste


Place broccoli florets into a large bowl
Cover with boiling water
Let sit for 2-3 minutes, then pour off water.
Add lemon juice, olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper
Mix well and leave to marinate

Can be served warm or chilled.
